Dr. Awasum brings over two decades of expertise in gastroenterology and a lifelong commitment to holistic wellness to INFUSE WELLNESS MEDSPA . As Co-founder and Co- owner of Greater Houston Digestive Disease Consultants, he has dedicated the past 15 years to transforming the health of his patients through advanced digestive care. A graduate of The University of Florida-Gainesville, where he specialized in gastroenterology and liver diseases, Dr Awasum completed his residency in Internal Medicine at The University of Kentucky and earned his medical degree at East Tennessee College of Medicine.
Having grown up in Africa, Dr. Awasum was deeply influenced by the power of natural remedies and the importance of a balanced, holistic approach to healing. Over the years, he has seen firsthand how poor nutrition can erode health—particularly gut health—and has become a passionate advocate for wellness and nutrition. His philosophy is simple yet profound: when we care for ourselves on the inside, it radiates outward.
